Pokémon GO Fest 2023 is shaping up to be the biggest event of the year, featuring a month filled with events and double the gameplay opportunities. Millions of Pokémon GO enthusiasts from around the world will partake in the festivities, which promise exclusive gameplay and mythical surprises.
This year’s Pokémon GO Fest will be held in three cities, beginning with London, England, on August 4-6, 2023. London, fresh off hosting the 2022 Pokémon World Championships, is gearing up to welcome trainers for the European leg of the event. Next, Pokémon GO Fest will take place in Osaka, Japan, also on August 4-6, 2023. This marks the first time the city of Osaka will host a GO Fest event, bringing the excitement back to Japan. Finally, New York City will host the event on August 18-20, 2023, where trainers from all over the world can experience everything the Big Apple has to offer.

After the in-person events, Pokémon GO Fest will conclude with a global, two-day digital event on August 26-27, 2023. Trainers around the world can participate, with some features available even to those without a ticket. Tickets for the worldwide event are priced at $14.99 (or the equivalent in local currency) and will be available for purchase until August 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. local time.
Trainers who purchase a Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global ticket by July 5, 2023, and play between June 21 and July 5 will receive special Timed Research. Those who purchase a ticket by August 1, 2023, and play between July 15 and August 1 will receive different special Timed Research. Trainers who bought a ticket before July 5 will receive both Timed Research opportunities.
Tickets for Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global can be purchased through the in-game shop. A few days before the event, ticket holders will receive a medal, and upon logging in during event hours on August 26 or 27, 2023, they will gain access to the Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global experience.
