In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Indigo Disk DLC, players face the challenge of completing the Blueberry Pokédex. To do this, you need to acquire version-exclusive Pokémon (like every Pokémon generation), which aren’t available in your game version. The solution? Use specific trade codes during online trades. This method allows you to access Pokémon exclusive to the other version of the game by trading, a crucial step for those aiming to complete their Pokédex without owning both game versions.

Austin John Plays, a well-known Pokémon enthusiast, YouTuber, journalist, and more, has put together these Pokémon Indigo Disk trade codes to help players worldwide find the missing Pokémon they are after. By spreading these trade codes, players knew exactly what code to use to get that Pokémon. The more people who use these codes, the higher the chance these codes will always be used. So thank you. Austin John Plays for this information.

What Are Indigo Disk Trade Codes?

Every Pokémon generation, like Scarlet and Violet, features two versions with their own exclusive Pokémon. While some players opt to purchase both games, trade codes offer a strategic alternative. These codes enable players to trade for the exclusive Pokémon of the opposite version, making the completion of the Pokédex a more accessible and collaborative experience by everyone using these codes.

However, using these codes does not guarantee you’ll get the Pokémon you want straightway, as other Pokémon trainers will be trading for the Pokémon they want. If you don’t get the Pokémon you are after, end the trade and try again until you do.

How to Use Indigo Disk Trade Codes

To use Pokémon Indigo Disk Trading Codes, you must have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription and make sure you’re set to Online Mode. Then, you just need to follow these steps:

  1. Press X to open the Main Menu and select ‘Poké Portal.’
  2. Select Link Trade in the left menu underneath Tera Raid Battle.
  3. Highlight ‘Set Link Code’ and enter the trade code for the specific Pokémon swap you want.
  4. Hit ‘Begin Searching’ to connect with another player.
  5. Once you’re paired up, double-check the trade. If they’ve got the Pokémon you need, go ahead and make the trade happen
