Game Freak is set to bring another time-limited 7-star or Black Crystal Tera Raid event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This time, Pokémon trainers will get a chance to battle and get a Pikachu with the Mightiest Mark. Although Pikachu can be found in a handful of areas around the Paldea, the Pikachu that appears during this event has Water as its Tera Type, making it both a formidable opponent and a powerful ally.
The first round of the Unrivaled Pikachu Tera Raid event will begin on February 24th, at 00:00 UTC until February 27th, at 14:59 UTC, which is also the scheduled date of the New Pokémon Presents in celebration of the 2023 Pokémon Day. Details regarding the schedule of the second round of the 7-star Pikachu Tera Raid event have yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Bronzong and Lucario will also be available as 4 and 5 Star raids during the course of the Pikachu Tera Raid event.
Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is widely considered to be the most popular member of the Pokémon species and serves as the official mascot for the Pokémon franchise. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Pikachu evolves once into Raichu using a thunderstone.
As with previous Black Crystal Tera Raid events, the upcoming Unrivaled Pikachu Tera Raid offers various exciting rewards. Although the unrivaled Pikachu can only be captured once per save file, players may re-challenge the 7-Star Pikachu for a variety of other valuable prizes, such as Exp. Candies, Water Tera Shards, Ability Patches, Mints, and other Treasures.
The Level 100 Pikachu will have its Hidden Ability, max IVs in every stat, and the unique Mightiest Mark. It is also likely that this Pikachu has access to the powerful Lightning Rod Hidden Ability so it is best to bring a grass-type Pokémon on your team to counter this move.
