Developer Game Freak has planned to roll out a new update this week for the Pokémon franchise’s open-world RPG, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Today, Pokémon information source Serebii revealed that the next patch for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be made available on April 20th, 2023. This update will fix previously identified issues, including the bug encountered by players who did not upgrade to Version 1.2. The previous bug affected players who were still playing on Version 1.1 but were able to participate in Version 1.2 raids and catch Pokémon, resulting in bad eggs as the data was not in Version 1.1.
In addition, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet decided to hold yet another five-star Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raid Battles commencing on May 1st, 2023, and lasting for about two weeks. This will allow trainers who have been affected by the last Raid problem to have another chance to catch the featured Pokémon.
Following its release in December 2022, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have already been met with a range of complaints, most of which are directed at the game’s graphics. Despite Game Freak’s previous efforts to resolve these problems, Pokémon Trainers continue to encounter graphical issues and Tera Raid battles-related bugs.
Later in February 2023, just in time for this year’s Pokémon Day, Game Freak released the latest patch for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Version 1.2. This patch addresses various issues with the Tera Raid Battles and also provides a preview of the forthcoming DLCs. Undoubtedly, the announcement of the game’s first expansion has generated a great deal of excitement among players, who can now look forward to the inclusion of additional content for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
The upcoming DLCs somewhat prove that Game Freak is committed to supporting the game in the long run, to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for Pokémon trainers in the Paldea.
