Recently, MOB Games’ official Twitter account has posted the last piece of the Poppy Playtime Train station puzzle. Ahead of the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2’s release, the train station puzzle pieces shared by MOB Games provide a sneak preview of the title’s upcoming DLC.
In Poppy Playtime, players take on the role of a former employee of Playtime Co. who returns to the company’s abandoned toy factory. In Chapter 1, players were introduced to one of the monsters, Huggy Wuggy, as they go through the abandoned factory in search of clues as to what happened to its staff. Meanwhile, Chapter 2 of Poppy Playtime is expected to bring a new antagonist, Mommy Long Legs, as well as the Game Station map, a popular playground spot for children in Playtime Co. built with a train station that provides a direct route into and out of the factory.
Combining all of the previously released Game Station poster pieces together creates an overview of a bright and colorful room that depicts Playtime Co.’s early days. There are various elements in the picture of the Game Station that might lead to some exciting conclusions of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2’s contents. Among the significant elements in the poster are the several amusement features of the toy factory, children, and scientists who seem to be doing research and observing things from a safe distance.
Looking at the full Game Station poster, it appears that the train will be crucial for players in escaping Playtime Co.’s factory. During the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, players must be on the lookout for Mommy Long Legs, as she seems to be wandering around the Game Station desperately looking for a new playmate. Meanwhile, Bunzo Bunny and PJ Pug-a-pillar, both of whom were mentioned on the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Steam store page, might be the enemy toys found in the two mini-game areas located at the center of the Game Station. The Musical Memory might be a mini-game area featuring Bunzo Bunny, as indicated by the banner, while the stairway leading down to the other mini-game area might be where PJ Pug-a-pillar is situated.
Although MOB Games has yet to announce the official release date of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, director Isaac Christopherson has confirmed that the DLC will be available very soon.
