According to a listing on Amazon Italy, the forthcoming Mortal Kombat 1, developed by NetherRealm Studios, might include a downloadable content pack, ‘Kombat Pack 1’. This information has not been officially confirmed by either NetherRealm Studios or Warner Bros. Games.
As per the online listing, ‘Kombat Pack 1’ could feature six playable characters – Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Peacemaker, Takeda, and Homelander. Five Kameo characters, namely Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra, are also mentioned as part of the pack. Furthermore, a character skin for Jean-Claude Van Damme is listed among the contents.
The game, priced at $69.99, is scheduled to be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, both in physical and digital formats. A Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1, costing $109.99, will also be up for grabs. This edition will include the Standard Edition content, the Kombat Pack, early access starting September 14, and 1,250 Dragon Krystals, which serves as in-game currency. The Kombat Pack promises early access to six new playable characters and five new Kameo Fighters post-launch.
For enthusiasts who desire something more exclusive, the Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition is the one to look out for. Retailing at $249.99, this version will be available physically at select outlets, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This special edition will include all Premium Edition content, early access, a 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture designed by COARSE, a unique Liu Kang in-game character skin, three exclusive art prints, a steel case, and an additional 1,450 Dragon Krystals, bringing the total to 2,700.
