Beginning with update 23.2, PUBG: Battlegrounds players will be introduced to the new Recall system. This feature is intended to alleviate the sense of frustration felt upon death during team play. Players will be able to retrieve a Blue Chip from the deathbox of a fallen ally and help them rejoin the match.

The Blue Chip is a special chip containing a player’s biometric signature, found in any player’s deathbox. To recall a teammate, players must register the Blue Chip of their ally at a Blue Chip Towers scattered throughout the map. Players may also recall teammates anytime and anywhere by using the world-spawn consumable item, Blue Chip Transmitter. Successfully registered Blue Chips will recall the appropriate teammates in the next phase.

Players who have been Recalled may re-enter the battlegrounds via parachute from a Recall plane, which flies once at the start of each phase. These players will not possess any weapons or equipment and their health, boosts, DBNO stack, and items will be reset. If the last surviving teammate is eliminated before the player is set to rejoin the match boards the plane, the Recall will be canceled, resulting in a match defeat.

Since it has been quite common for players to become disoriented and unable to locate their vehicles, PUBG: Battlegrounds update 23.2 has included a new feature that automatically generates a vehicle icon. This icon is visible only to the players, at the location where they exit their vehicle, and applies to every vehicle except for the Mountain Bike.

A timed exit feature has also been added to enhance safety measures and prevent tragic accidents caused by players inadvertently disembarking from a moving vehicle. This feature is activated when someone attempts to exit a moving vehicle at a specific speed.

In addition, players now have more tactical options thanks to tweaks made to the rate of automatic HP loss when in the Down But Not Out (DBNO) state. The rate of automatic HP loss while remaining stationary has been decreased, allowing players to make more informed decisions on whether to stay put or reposition based on their circumstances.

In the current gaming landscape of PUBG, it takes quite some time to recall a squad member when they get knocked out, leaving the squad vulnerable to the enemy’s approach. As such, update 23.2 is adding a new feature where players can carry their knocked-out teammates and load them into a vehicle for a quick getaway.

Some weapon balance adjustments were also made as part of update 23.2. Particularly, the intensity of the screen shakes experienced while firing the ACE32 has been reduced, leading to an improvement in the weapon’s stability. The particle count of smoke grenades has also been optimized to enhance rendering performance.

Another highlight of PUBG: Battlegrounds update 23.2 is the new social feature, the Clan System. Clans add a fresh and engaging layer to the gameplay experience by introducing a new progression system, called the Clan levels. As players collaborate with their Clan members, a variety of bonuses and rewards will be offered to them. The Lobby now has a Clan button for creating or joining a Clan, with the release of version 23.2. Only players with the Plus Status will be permitted to create a Clan. It will cost 15,000 BP and can accommodate a total of 100 members.
