Resident Evil 4 Remake & Resident Evil Village are Coming to iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max Later This Year

Recently, Apple’s ‘Wonderlust’ event went live, showcasing the highly anticipated lineup of new Apple products set to hit the market later this year. Among the highlights of the event was the unveiling of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which boast a variety of upgrades, including the powerful A17 Pro chip.

Apart from the reveal of these new flagship smartphones from Apple, the tech giant surprised fans by announcing several triple-A games that will launch on these devices. Among these titles include the most recent releases from Capcom’s acclaimed survival horror franchise, Resident Evil. Specifically, the 2021 Resident Evil Village and 2023 Resident Evil 4 Remake will be making their way into iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max this year.  

Resident Evil Village is a sequel to the 2017 Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, where players once again take on the role of Ethan Winters, who searches for his kidnapped daughter in a village filled with mutant creatures. Meanwhile, Resident Evil 4 Remake promises a revamped experience of the 2005 classic, featuring an updated plot, new visuals, characters, cast, and altered gameplay. In this game, players control the US agent Leon S. Kennedy, who must save Ashley Graham, the daughter of the United States president, from the mysterious Los Illuminados cult. 

In addition to the Resident Evil titles, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users can also anticipate the arrival of other exciting games, such as Kojima Production’s Death Stranding and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Delivering these AAA games to Apple’s newest flagship iPhones became a reality thanks to its A17 Pro chip, allowing players to harness the smartphone’s hardware-based ray tracing for games. This marks a significant leap forward in mobile gaming, demonstrating Apple’s commitment to providing premium experiences for mobile players. Consequently, fans look forward to the arrival of more AAA titles on these cutting-edge devices.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available beginning Friday, September 22.
