Saints Row‘s ‘The Heist and The Hazardous‘ DLC is now available, and with it comes the game’s biggest patch to date, the free Sunshine Springs update.

With the release of today’s patch for Saints Row, Santo Ileso is now even bigger with the addition of Sunshine Springs, a vast oasis located in the Rojas Desert. Sunshine Springs is a resort area that is home to the real elite of Santo Ileso. It features new threats, photo hunt, @tcha, and Riding Shotgun activities for players to enjoy. Sunshine Springs will also serve as the setting for the Expansion Pass content.

Saints Row‘s Sunshine Springs update also introduces some significant updates to combat, making it seem more dynamic than before. Aiming, crouching, and takedowns have all been improved, and in addition, the health and evading capabilities of enemies have been adjusted to make them more balanced and fairer to fight. The timing of the opponent reinforcement calls has also been tweaked, providing the Bosses with an increased number of opportunities to stop those troublesome snitches.

Several exciting new features are also offered by Saints Row‘s Sunshine Springs update, including the new Selfie Mode, new Camera Angle, and 12 new Emotes. The enemy and vehicle health bars may now also be toggled on and off independently of the rest of the UI. Changes to voice lines as well as to UI and menus have also been implemented.

Fixes to previously identified issues were also made as part of the Sunshine Springs update, which you can read more about on the full patch notes provided on the official Saints Row website.
