The teen who invaded the Game Awards in 2022 tweeted, "See you tomorrow, Geoff," and we've got the message right here!

Matan Even, also known as the ‘Game Awards kid,’ raided the stage in 2022 when Elden Ring won Game of the Year. Now, on Twitter, the same teen is saying, “see you tomorrow, Geoff,” which is just hilarious. We don’t think that Even could really do it again, especially with everyone remembering his face, but that doesn’t mean security is not tight.

The tweet also comes after an article we published earlier about the tighter security at The Game Awards, where we highlighted Gamescom head Christian Baur’s statement on keeping security tight at their event. They said that they’ve been working hard to tighten security at the event and improve everyone’s safety there. They acknowledged that the recent stage crash was, fortunately, just a harmless prank but admitted that it exposed a potential security risk that needed to be addressed.

Hopefully, this year will go by without incident. For those who don’t know, Even is notable for his actions during the Game of the Year (GOTY) acceptance speech for Elden Ring. Even, a 15-year-old at the time, grabbed the microphone and said, “I want to nominate this award to my reformed orthodox rabbi, Bill Clinton. Thank you, everybody.” This disrupted the ceremony and drew significant attention.

The prank was funny the first time but has become incredibly annoying because you have people who are not close to funny trying stuff like this. Even at least keeps things light and likely does not want to do this again, but if anyone is thinking of doing it, Please do not. It’s only funny the first time and is more of a nuisance when the joke gets old, which it has.
