As the week comes to an end, HoYoverse decided to surprise its fans by releasing a new Honkai: Star Rail character trailer, this time starring Serval, a character which will, for sure, rock a lot of hearts.
In her “The Cusp of Ignition!” trailer, which you can check out below, courtesy of the game’s official YouTube channel, we can see not only more of Serval and her style, but also a glimpse of her gameplay, as the trailer ends with what many assume to be her Ultimate.
Just as with the previously released March 7th trailer, those that comment on the trailer will also be able to take part in an exclusive YouTube comment event, where they could win character stands for many of the title’s characters, including those of the stars of the game’s recent showcase, Kafka, Jing Yuan, Silver Wolf, Luocha, Seele, and Blade, all of which are currently available as part of the game’s second closed beta test.
About Serval
According to Honkai: Star Rail’s official website, Serval is both the eldest daughter of the Landau family and a talented mechanic. She is also the owner of the “Neverwinter” workshop, where she sets up rock’n’roll performances from time to time. She will thread the Erudition path. Serval is voiced by Natalie Van Sistine in English and by Aimi in Japanese.
Gameplay-wise, taking into account her path, as well as what is showcased in her trailer, Serval looks to be a character whose focus will lie on dealing high amounts of AoE lightning damage to enemies, by making use of her guitar/glaive. With that said, the release of Serval’s trailer, plus the official reveal of the game’s opening sequence earlier in the week may be a sign that players won’t have to wait long for the official release of the anticipated title.
As we said above, Honkai: Star Rail is still in its closed beta stage. The game is expected to be released somewhere in 2023.
