Sifu 2022 content roadmap revealed – outfit selection, difficulty options, and more

According to the roadmap, Sifu will be receiving not only a wide array of outfits but also new modifiers. and the debut of three difficulty options.

Today, developer Sloclap revealed the 2022 content roadmap for Sifu, their acclaimed and unforgiving action-fighting title. The reveal was made through a post on the game’s official Twitter profile. The first free update is set to be released on May 3rd.

With that said, according to the roadmap, the first update is set to bring the game a set of difficulty options, an advanced training mode, as well as the debut of the outfit mechanic. The update will be followed by another free patch to debut in the Summer, featuring the debut of a wide array of different gameplay modifiers and advanced scoring.

The year’s final two updates will be released in the Fall and in the Winter and will contain the debut of a replay feature, as well as that of a new game mode called ”Arenas”, respectively. It’s important to point out that every content patch will also bring new outfits to Sifu.

The reveal of the roadmap was made a day after the developers behind Sifu announced that those that purchased the game’s Deluxe Edition will also receive an exclusive outfit, called The Young Man Suit, set to debut together with the first update.

In Sifu, players take on the role of an unnamed protagonist as they hunt the ones responsible for the murder of their father. The game received overwhelmingly positive reviews upon launch, thanks to its steep but rewarding difficulty, as well as its stellar combat and mechanics, all focused on literally beating the fundamentals of Kung-Fu into you as your progress through its many stages,
