Skull and Bones had its newest release date leaked. Ubisoft has yet to confirm whether it’s true but it comes from a reputable source: Insider Gaming. It does come from a source who makes sure to get its facts straight, but we’ll still say to take it with a grain of salt.

Skull and Bones got another release date as claimed by our friends at InsiderGaming. The new date is February 16, 2024, which isn’t very long away. This is the sixth release date that the game has been given, getting postponed more times than I’ve ever seen a game delayed.

I don’t believe the game will ever be released, even with this new date given. I’ve seen it get delayed right before it comes out a handful of times already, so I’m not holding my breath. Even Duke Nukem didn’t get this many release dates. Games like that tend to get claims that it will come out “soon” and then never get a date.

Skull & Bones continues to give out days where it will come out and then get delayed before it does. I’m not really a fan of it all either, and I know a lot of people have been turned off by how long it’s taken. To me, it looks like a bad version of Sea of Thieves. We’ll see what it amounts to when it does come out, but even if the release date wasn’t a leak, we’d say to take that date with a grain of salt.

We do hope to see confirmation soon, or at least more hope that the game will be released.
