GTA+ keeps adding new stuff to get people to join in. Rockstar Games has revealed that two popular classic games, Bully and LA Noire, will join the subscription service’s rotating game library later this year. This addition expands the collection of Rockstar games available to those with an active GTA+ membership.
Adding Bully and LA Noire to this service lets subscribers play these classic Rockstar games once again or for the first time. This is free if they already have an active subscription. If you’re like me and haven’t bought Bully or LA Noire but are interested, this is a good time to do so. To be honest, they’ve kind of sold me on it.
Bully has received praise for its open-world gameplay set in a high school. Players took on the role of a mischievous student dealing with clubs, gangs, and the sort. It’s a well-beloved game, and fans like me have been wanting a sequel but haven’t gotten one.
LA Noire is a detective game set in 1940s Los Angeles. It received attention for its advanced facial capture technology and the challenging development process faced by its creators, Team Bondi. In my opinion, it did not age well because motion capture back then was not as good as we see today. Either way, the game allows players to take on the role of a detective and solve intricate criminal cases. Many who have played it love it.
For those who may not know, GTA+ is a special subscription service for GTA Online players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Subscribers get a bunch of perks, like a monthly in-game cash deposit of GTA$500,000 (with an extra GTA$1,000,000 bonus from April to August), discounts on properties and vehicles, and access to exclusive clothing and cosmetics.
The GTA+ subscription offers a rotating selection of classic Rockstar games. Right now, the library includes popular titles like the GTA Trilogy – Definitive Edition and Red Dead Redemption, as well as the Undead Nightmare expansion. Mobile gamers can also play Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Liberty City Stories.
With GTA 6 still in the works and probably not coming out until 2025, this is a great chance for Rockstar fans to appreciate some of the studio’s earlier, equally remarkable games.
