Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has received a performance-enhancing patch that has been released today for the PC version, and tomorrow, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S gamers will receive their own patches. These updates aim to improve overall performance and resolve a multitude of bugs and issues that have been affecting the game.
Today’s patch for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor focuses on improving non-raytraced rendering performance. On the other hand, the console patches scheduled for tomorrow, 5/2, address a wider range of issues. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can expect to see multiple crash fixes related to skipping cinematics, as well as improved performance across both platforms.
The console patches will also resolve various rendering issues and a problem with dynamic cloth inside the Mantis. Other fixes include addressing issues with registered Nekko colors not saving, Nekko disappearing from the stable, cinematic dialogue overlapping, collision problems, and enemy AI remaining in T Pose during photo mode.
Additionally, the console patches will fix a freeze that occasionally occurred while talking to Doma and a bug where the BD-oil VFX did not properly render. Finally, the patch will correct an issue where players would get stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if they didn’t save after leaving the chamber and died.
It is worth noting that the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has already received the fixes coming to consoles tomorrow. The developers continue to work diligently on further patches to improve performance and address bugs across all platforms, ensuring a smooth gaming experience for fans of the Star Wars saga.
