In this new adventure, Cal Kestis starts off as a more powerful character than in his previous outing, and players will feel his enhanced capabilities from the very first swing of his lightsaber. The game offers a robust set of mechanics that can be tailored according to the player’s preferred playstyle, allowing them to tackle enemies in a variety of ways.

At the beginning of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players can choose from five distinct combat stances, each providing unique advantages against the game’s diverse range of enemies. The Single stance offers a balanced playstyle, while Double-bladed enables players to deal rapid damage to groups of enemies with flair. Dual-wield allows for energetic, stylish slashing with a lightsaber in each hand, while Crossguard delivers powerful, slower attacks ideal for taking down larger foes. Lastly, the Blaster stance lets players engage enemies from a distance with powerful ranged shots.

Each combat stance features its own skill tree, enabling players to unlock new offensive and defensive abilities. Additionally, Cal can perform numerous impressive finisher moves that are both visually stunning and satisfying to execute. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal is already an established Jedi, and players have the opportunity to demonstrate the full extent of his powers against those who threaten the galaxy.

Cal’s Force abilities have also been expanded upon in this new adventure. Players can still utilize Force Push and Force Pull to control enemies on the battlefield, but now Cal can also employ Jedi mind tricks to manipulate foes, turning them against their allies or enlisting the assistance of local wildlife to battle the Empire’s forces.

With its New Game Plus mode, an array of combat stances, and enhanced Force abilities, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor promises an engaging and thrilling gaming experience for fans of the franchise.
