Capcom has made two major announcements related to Street Fighter 6: the introduction of a new DLC character named A.K.I. and a unique collaboration with Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The character of A.K.I., a devoted enthusiast of toxic substances, is set to bring a fresh dynamic to the gameplay. The character reveal showed her eager anticipation to engage in battle with her adversaries. A.K.I.’s addition to Street Fighter 6 is slated for Fall 2023, with more details to be unveiled in due course.

In addition to A.K.I.’s announcement, Capcom disclosed an exciting partnership with TMNT. The collaboration features a range of in-game content, including TMNT-themed gear, emotes, titles, and stamps. Players can also customize their in-game device wallpapers and photo mode camera frames with TMNT elements. A remarkable aspect of this collaboration allows players to transform their World Tour and Battle Hub custom avatars into one of the iconic turtles. The collaboration launch is set for August 8, 2023, marking an interesting intersection of the gaming and animated worlds.

Capcom debuted A.K.I. during the Evo event, unveiling in-game cinematic footage of the upcoming character from the single-player World Tour mode, making her the 20th playable character in Street Fighter 6.

This TMNT collaboration represents the second branded partnership within Street Fighter 6 since its June 2023 release. The previous collaboration was with Onitsuka Tiger at the game’s launch. This partnership gives players the opportunity to display their TMNT fandom while adorning the in-game social center—Battle Hub—with TMNT banners, signage, and trailers.

Street Fighter 6 is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
