Those waiting for Rocksteady’s newest Arkham game are in for a bit of disappointment, as Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has once again had its release delayed.
At 7:04 AM, Sefton Hill, the Creative Director and co-founder of Rocksteady Games tweeted a disappointing announcement. According to the tweet, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s release has been delayed to Spring 2023.
As mentioned in the tweet, the reason for doing so is to make sure the game releases in the best state possible. This likely means that Rocksteady has been hit with some production problems, and the game won’t be in a satisfying state by the time the original release date rolls around. Sefton Hill then apologized for the delay, expressing how frustrating the extra wait can be.
The game was originally slated to release at some point during 2022, meaning we now have an extra year to wait for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s release. While this is surely upsetting news to anyone who was hyped for the game’s release, Rocksteady surely needs this time to get the game to a playable state. We can be sure that they wouldn’t delay the game if they didn’t have to.
Though the game is delayed, it’s unlikely that the game will be delayed again, so we have Spring 2023 to look forward to Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. To keep up with the latest updates and game delays, check out our gaming news section.
