Riot Games have released Teamfight Tactics Patch 12.8. We will cover all the buffs and nerfs that have occurred to chemtechs, enchanters, hextechs, mutants, and scrap in this patch. Riot implemented the changes in this patch to maintain a stable meta and practice environment for pros and ensure a consistent Ranked experience for everyone else.

Significant Changes in TFT

Augments

  • Radiant Relics and Golden Egg option, Quickestsilver (Radiant Quicksilver) Attack Speed was 45% and is now 55%

Traits

Riot has buffed several traits while they gave other traits measures to counter them.

  • Chemtech percent max Health Regen was 4/7/10/18% and is now 5/9/13/20%
  • Enchanter percent increase to Healing and Shielding was 25/45/70/100% and is now 25/50/80/115%
  • Hextech shield was 100/135/250/350 and is now 100/150/275/375.
  • Mutant, Cybernetic Enhancement Health was 450/900/1350 and is now 450/800/1250.
  • Mutant, Voracious Appetite Attack Damage & Ability Power was 20/30/40 and is now 18/27/36.
  • Scrap shield per item component was 20/40/60 and is now 20/30/50.
  • Syndicate Armor & Magic Resist was 50 and is now 55.
  • Syndicate 7 Bonus amplification was 50% and is now 55%

Slight Changes in TFT

Augments

  • Portable Forge option, Eternal Winter Attack Speed Slow was 25% and is now 30%

Units: Tier 2

  • Zilean Time Bomb Attack Speed Slow was 25/35/50% and is now 30/40/50%

Units: Tier 3

  • Ekko Parallel Convergence Attack Speed Slow was 25/25/35% and is now 20/20/30%
  • Gangplank Parrrley Damage was 120/160/225 and is now 110/150/225.

Units: Tier 4

  • Kha’Zix Void Assault Attack Damage scaling was 195/200/225% and is now 180/185/260%
  • Renata Glasc Toxic Wave Attack Speed Slow was 15% and is now 20%
  • Renata Glasc Toxic Wave Damage was 40/65/220 and is now 40/65/240.
  • Vi Piltover Pulverizer Damage was 125/200/450 and is now 125/200/500.
  • Vi Piltover Pulverizer Shield was 225/325/750 and is now 225/325/850.

Units: Tier 5

  • Jinx Rocket from Attack Damage scaling was 220/230/888% and is now 210/220/888%

Items

  • Frozen Heart Attack Speed Slow was 35% and is now 30%

Double Up

Previously, when players took damage in Double Up, Riot would take the incoming damage, cut it in half, round it down and save the rest. In the early stages of the game, this could cause scenarios where you would reinforce an ally, and your ally’s units would die. However, you’d still win, making your opponent take 1 point of damage cut in half and then rounded down.

Taking zero damage (with the half point of damage saved for later) is odd, so they will make this more intuitive. Now, players will take a minimum of 1 damage upon losing a round in Double Up.

Bug Fixes

  • Shades off: Fixed an issue causing Sunlight Cape (Radiant Sunfire Cape) only to affect enemies within a 1-hex range.
  • They’ve fixed an issue preventing Senna from gaining Mana from Blue Buff and Blue Battery after casting.
