Avid fans of the romance detective game, Tears of Themis, have cause for excitement as HoYoverse confirmed the launch of the limited-time event series “Fluffy Fuzzy Time I”. Slated to go live on May 27, this upcoming event encourages players to embark on sentimental journeys with characters Luke and Vyn, building relationships with adorable in-game pets.
Tears of Themis, set in the fictional city of Stellis, invites players into the shoes of a rookie attorney. As they navigate through a host of investigations and debates, players must unravel the city’s hidden darkness. A looming force threatens to disrupt Stellis’ order and justice, and players are tasked with staving off this menace. The journey unfolds alongside four male protagonists, each with their unique personalities, forming the NXX Investigation Team. This team offers ongoing support, fostering the blossoming of relationships founded on trust and close cooperation.
In the upcoming “Fluffy Fuzzy Time I” event, players will assist Luke in helping a brave German Shepherd transition to retirement following its career as a K-9. Alternatively, players can opt to spend leisurely days with Vyn, forging bonds with a charming odd-eyed Persian cat. Players will be responsible for their pet’s food and cleanliness, participating in various interactions and outdoor activities, and chronicling the animals’ growth.
To increase their pet’s trust level, players will need to fulfill the pet’s daily needs. As the trust level heightens, players will gain access to the Pet Sound Communicator and adorable games for added entertainment. The strengthening bond between the player and pet will lead to rewards, such as S-Chips and other generous bonuses. Players who complete all Growth Memories will receive event-exclusive Badges “Heart Remedy” and “Playful and Sweet”, among other prizes.
The event will also feature an increased draw rate for two limited-edition SSR cards in the “Shadow of Themis” Event. Players can acquire these cards to unlock exclusive stories and phone calls with the respective male leads. Luke’s emotional SSR story “A Dream of Benji” promises a heartwarming narrative, whereas Vyn’s SSR story “Trace of Puff” hints at dialogues sure to make hearts flutter.
Players can obtain Luke’s dynamic Invitation “A Calm Break” and Vyn’s dynamic Invitation “Snowball in Dreams” during the event. Upon accessing the purchase page, players will trigger a limited-time sale, offering a 20% discount for a 48-hour duration.
