In V Rising, you play as a Vampire in a hostile world, where the only way to survive is to collect blood and build a base, so that you and your friends can consolidate power and rule the world. You need all the help you can get if you want to take on the hostile environment on your own, so if you’re looking for how to take on The Duke of Balaton you’ve found the right guide.

V Bloods are incredibly valuable targets who unlock new crafting blueprints and powerful abilities for your Vampire. While you can track their scent, it’s much easier to simply know the exact location of where these powerful foes reside.

The Duke of Balaton Location

The Duke of Balaton is found in the northern part of the Cursed Forest. He is a level 62 V-Blood, so only experienced players should take him on.

You can find his location on the map below. Heading north all the way to the edge of the map in the Cursed Woods will lead you to the Swamp of Greed, where you will find the Duke protecting his horde of meaningless treasures. Credit for the map goes to Map Genie.

You’ll fight The Duke of Balaton outdoors, so you’ll have to take the sun into account when fighting this boss. If you need a guide for taking on this V Blood, check out the video below.

The Duke of Balaton drops the Toad Form ability, which allows you to jump high into the air and access some previously inaccessible areas of the map. There are no recipe or structure drops for defeating the Duke.
