Grounded exploded onto the scene as a pretty interesting survival game that shrunk your character down to insect size and challenged you to survive in the unforgiving garden landscape. It has received a variety of updates since the early access release. The newest update, Into the Wood, has been released on February 1st, 2022 and includes a variety of new features that players should enjoy.
There are a couple of big new areas to explore, which are The BBQ Spill and The Termite Dungeon. You will have to equip yourself with some of the new gear to make your way through the sweltering barbecue area to reach hidden treasures that will lead to sweet rewards. The Termite Dungeon has you delving into their nest, to fight off a variety of different enemies that will get you the ingredients needed to craft some new tools.
If you’re more into crafting then you will find that the menus have gotten a big update that combines and streamlines the process. You can also copy and paste building pieces, which should help speed up your workflow. The ability to customize lighting options has also been added, which will give you options for Max Brightness, Temperate, and to Toggle the light on and off.

If you love yourself some insects, you will find new creatures like the Termites, Ladybird, Scarab, Black Ox Beetle, Green Shield Beetle, Ladybug Larva, Dust Mite, and Infected Wolf Spider!
