The Time of Ninja Ankokuji Secret Organization Guide: How to Join the Akatsuki

In The Time of Ninja, if you want to pull a Sasuke and roleplay down the ultimate path of the villain, you’re going to have to become a rogue ninja and join a criminal organization like the Akatsuki, otherwise called the Ankokuji. This guide will tell you exactly how to join the secretive criminal organization, the Akatsuki/Ankokuji, in The Time of Ninja and become like the infamous rogue ninjas like Uchiha Itachi and Kidam Zetsu.

How to Join the Akatsuki in The Time of Ninja

To join the secret organization in The Time of Ninja, the Akatsuki, also known as the Ankokuji in-game, you must possess 50 Chi Essence to enter the secret location of the Ankokuji base and then talk to the Ankokuji Leader inside. The leader will then assign you a mission to complete. Once completed, return to the leader and you will become a member of the Akatsuki/Ankokuji.

Once you have gathered 50 Chi Essence, head to the location shown in the image above; there, you’ll find the secret location of the Akatsuki hideout. Interact with the talisman on the right side of the boulder to remove it and gain access to the hidden location where the Ankokuji Leader is. Fans of the Naruto anime/manga will recognize this place as the actual Akatsuki hideout where the Tailed Beasts were extracted from their Jinchuriki.

To become a member of the Ankokuji, you need to speak to the Ankokuji leader. He will give you a quest to collect 100 Chi Essence. This does not include the 50 you have already collected; you have to acquire another 100. After collecting the essence by defeating various bosses, speak to the Ankokuji Leader again to complete the quest. Upon completion, you will be given the Ankokuji Member Clothing to look like a member of the Akatsuki. After becoming a member, your chat will display [Ankokuji Leader Assist].

Chi Essence Guide

To obtain Chi Essence, there is a low chance to get it as a drop from every boss in the game. You just need to continue fighting bosses in The Time of Ninja to collect Chi Essence. It may take you a while, but this is the path of villainy!
