The reveal season for Hearthstone’s upcoming expansion, Voyage of the Sunken City is underway, which means we’re getting a chance to see some great new cards. Three legendaries were revealed today, one for the Druid, Mage, and Warlock classes. Two of these contain the new keyword, Colossal, which will bring tokens onto the board whether you cast the card from hand or pull it onto the board from your deck!

Hedra the Heretic is a Naga Legendary for the Druid class. It’s a 7-cost 4/5 minion, with a card text of, “Battlecry: For each spell you’ve cast while holding this, summon a minion of that spell’s Cost.” This could be a pretty big swing card, if you’re able to cast a few spells while holding onto it. You could also possibly make some combos happen, but you will need to find a way to get this card in your hand first!

Mage is receiving the Gaia, the Techtonic Legendary card, which is an 8-mana 5/7 minion. It reads, “Colossal +2 – After a friendly Mech attacks, deal 1 damage to all enemies.” Mech Mage was a deck in previous metas, so this is a chance for it to come back into popularity. The Colossal cards you get are 3-mana 2/3 Mechs with Rush.

Finally, there’s Gigafin who is a 8-mana 7/4 minion with the card text, “Colossal +1. Battlecry: Devour all enemy minions. Deathrattle: Spit them back out.” This is a very interesting card, because the token piece of it is a 6-mana 4/7 minion, which reads “Taunt – Deathrattle: Permanently destroy all minions inside Gigafin.” You will need to hope that your opponent can’t get past the token, so you can avoid Gigafin spitting those minions back on the table!
Those are all of the Legendaries that were revealed today, you can see all of the recently revealed cards on the official Hearthstone website.
