If you’re into dragons, you’re probably working your way towards them and will encounter the Impa and the Geoglyphs Side Adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You will need to locate Impa in order to start the quest, though! If you need help finding Impa’s Location, we have a map along with a walkthrough for Impa and the Geoglyphs Side Adventure.

TotK Impa’s Location Map
Impa can be found out in the open, standing on a stone platform near New Serenne Stable in Hyrule Ridge. We have marked his location on the map below as well! To start Impa and the Geoglyphs quest, you just need to speak to her.

Impa and the Geoglyphs Walkthrough
To complete Impa and the Geoglyphs quest, you’ll need to help Impa fix her hot air balloon using your Ultrahand ability. This involves Link using Ultrahand to attach the basket to the balloon. Impa will then need you to get fire in order to fuel the hot air balloon, which you can do by using flint or a torch so that you can get that hot air balloon into the air.

Once you’re in the air, you’ll see a Zonai creature outlined. This is the trick you’ll need for spotting all Dragon’s Tears in geoglyphs: you are looking for the tear that is filled in, not just outlined. We have marked this in the screenshot below so that you know what location you should be paragliding to.

Once you get to the ground, you’ll see a swirling green vortex, which is the Dragon’s Tear and will trigger the memory, “Where Am I?” This will complete the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest. From here, you can start collecting all of the Dragon Tears!
We hope our guide on where to find Impa’s location and how to complete Impa and the Geoglyphs quest was helpful. Check out more of our Tears of the Kingdom coverage.
