Lost Between Worlds will be a new chapter for Dani Rojas and the player, where everything known about Yara will be fused with an extraterrestrial story, pushing Dani and the player into different situations. The story follows Dani as she investigates a meteorite in the forest and discovers that it was a spacecraft carrying an extraterrestrial named Fe. This vessel that they discover in the forest will ultimately trap them for at least 5 million years.

Dani Rojas needs to repair Fe’s vessel by gathering five shards. Each of these shards is only accessible by traveling a series of rifts, which are simulations of the world of Yara that have been broken and infused with extraterrestrial simulation components, such as obscene amounts of lightning and moving cities that would normally be above land.

As part of the new features available now, Far Cry 6 will offer a free trial of the game for all platforms. Players will be able to explore, survive, and liberate the first island, Isla Santuario in the free trial mode. Those who want to continue their adventure in Yara will have their progress saved when they purchase the full game and may get up to 67% off the full game.

Additionally, the much-requested New Game Plus mode is now available for free. As players uncover all of Yara’s secrets, the new Completionist Aid feature will assist them in tracking their progress. Another feature added is the new Guerilla Mode, perfect for New Game Plus and Co-op sessions. This mode provides a hardcore Far Cry experience for those who want to test their skills as enemies will hit hardest and are even more aware.

Players will also experience a New Ammo system in Far Cry 6. This removes the need to sprint to a workbench during combat. In addition, four additional loadout slots are added that will allow players to adjust to any circumstance in the combat. As part of the new features, the New Amigos Interaction is also implemented.

Four explosive Special Operations were also added, which are playable solo or Co-op. Players may also experience three free blockbuster Crossover Missions, featuring Danny Trejo, “Rambo,” and “Stranger Things.”
