Riot Games has recently unveiled Patch 6.11 for their hit tactical shooter, Valorant. This update introduces significant changes to Agents such as Chamber, Viper, and Breach. Additionally, several updates to the Pearl map and adjustments to weapons were also included in this latest patch. To provide players with a more seamless experience, various previously identified issues were also fixed.
Among the highlights of Patch 6.11 are the extensive changes made to Chamber’s abilities. Particularly, the weapon equip time after post-teleport for Chamber’s Rendezvous (E) has been reduced to 0 seconds. The Disabled Range of Chamber’s Trademark (C) has been extended from 4000 to 5000, while the Arm Speed has been reduced from 4 seconds to 2 seconds. Additionally, Chamber’s Tour De Force (X) now boasts a 15% increase in firing rate.
Viper’s Fuel Regeneration has undergone some modification as well, with the regeneration per second reduced from 5% to 3.3%. Breach’s Rolling Thunder (X) has received an update in warning visuals, providing a clearer edge to the ultimate’s area of effect.
Valorant Patch 6.11 also introduces a variety of changes to the Pearl map, specifically focusing on the B site. Adjustments have been made to the B Ramp Screen, removing the attacker cubby and refining the B Site Screen to offer defenders additional strategic options. A new cubby in B Hall has been added to provide defenders with an alternative position to play from. Furthermore, the size of the B Site Pillar has been widened to reduce the likelihood of getting spammed when playing from this area.
Apart from Agents and map updates, Riot Games has also made some tweaks to weapon mechanics in Valorant. The spread across most weapons while on ropes has been adjusted to make combat efficacy more challenging. In addition, pistols such as Frenzy and Shorty have also received some significant updates. The Shorty’s reserve ammo has been adjusted from 10 to 6. Its price has also increased, encouraging players to make more deliberate decisions when purchasing this weapon. Damage adjustments have been made to the Shorty as well, requiring moreaccuracy for one-shot kills against fully armored opponents. As for the Frenzy, this pistol now exhibits an increased minimum spread and its maximum spread reached has been adjusted to 5 bullets instead of 6.
Patch 6.11 also brings numerous bug fixes and gameplay improvements, which can be explored in more detail on the official Valorant website.
