Vampire Survivors, the popular bullet hell roguelike video game developed and published by Luca Galante, is set to make its highly anticipated debut on the Nintendo Switch later this year, as announced during the most recent Nintendo Direct presentation. Following its early access phase in December 2021, Vampire Survivors initially launched its full version on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Android, and iOS in late 2022. In this game, players will select one among a roster of unique characters, each equipped with different starting weapons and bonuses. As players control their chosen character through a procedurally generated stage, players must survive against relentless waves of increasingly formidable monsters.

With its overwhelming success, Vampire Survivors has received two downloadable content expansions, with the most recent one being released back in April. These DLCs introduce fans to new massive stages, characters, monsters, and weapons. Finally, Nintendo Switch fans will soon have the chance to experience Vampire Survivors‘ thrilling action when the game becomes available on their platform on August 17th.

In addition to the Nintendo Switch port, Vampire Survivors has made another exciting announcement, introducing the new Couch Co-op mode to the game. This exciting new feature will enable up to four players to join forces and battle against increasingly powerful adversaries together. Couch Co-op mode will be available on all currently supported platforms, including the Nintendo Switch.

Similar to other platforms, Vampire Survivors will be available on the Nintendo Switch for $4.99 / £3.99. For those eager to stay updated on the game’s release, it is now possible to add Vampire Survivors to the wishlist on the Nintendo eShop.
