Vampire Survivors Patch 1.7.0 which the developer calls “The Chilling One,” brings a winter makeover to the game with its snow-themed update. There are extra achievements, a bonus stage, unique relics that grant PowerUps and character morphing, a brand-new weapon with an evolution mechanic, and many more things that have been added. We’ll go into more detail but the overall patch is pretty chunky.

We’re going to go through everything added in the new Vampire Survivors patch, but it is hefty. This is directly from the official Steam page. Six additional achievements, a new stage called Whiteout, two unique relics with character morphing and PowerUps, a brand-new weapon with evolution mechanics, and a new playable character called She-Moon Eeta are included, as well as an additional music track to enhance the gaming experience.

Whiteout is a 20-minute bonus stage, players will encounter a unique challenge with slow-moving enemies and a vulnerability to fire weapons. The stage features amusing snowmen that might obstruct the path but offer valuable rewards, such as Orologions, which are essential to unlocking this stage.
Among the new relics, Chaos Altemanna allows O’Sole Meeo to morph at level 80, gaining minor stat boosts and evolving Celestial Dusting into Profusione D’Amore. This evolution retains its signature flower shots but adds bouncing projectiles and floating leaves that create damaging explosions.
The Antidote relic provides access to the Defang PowerUp, designed to make the game slightly easier by rendering certain enemies unable to deal damage, indicated by a green tint.
Glass Fandango is a newly introduced weapon that can be acquired in Whiteout. It has faster attacks while moving and standard attacks while stationary, dealing extra damage to frozen enemies and gaining bonus abilities during the time freeze triggered by Orologions. Players can evolve it into Celestial Voulge, which offers a chance to deal critical hits and freeze enemies while altering the time-freeze mechanism.
The game’s character roster expands with She-Moon Eeta, a defensive character with high Armor and Movement Speed. She possesses a unique CriticalHP skill that activates when her health drops below 25% and triggers a 10-second time freeze, akin to Orologions. However, this skill only recharges when the character regains full health.
In addition to all of the above, players can unlock special Halloween-themed skins for various characters by casting the “spoopy season spell.” The patch also hints at upcoming Adventures, which may add new stages and storylines.
