Waiting for the latest entry in the Vampire: The Masquerade series? While it may still be a while away, you can get a taste of the game with the brand new free-to-play game Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt. While the battle royale may be a far departure from the series’ RPG origins, we’ll likely see some of the mechanics in Bloodhunt transfer over to the combat in the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt is a brand new battle royale, but one that takes the genre in an exciting new direction. Using powerful vampiric abilities, players will battle through the streets of Prague in a supernatural warzone until there is only one vampire standing.

In addition to its supernatural abilities, Bloodhunt also distances itself from other battle royales by featuring a dynamic third-person camera. On top of fighting with other players, vampires will also battle against inquisition soldiers and feast on the blood of NPCs to grow their strengths and face off in hopes of crowning themselves the victor of the bloodhunt.

Supernatural abilities aren’t the only thing players have in their arsenal. Bloodhunt features a plethora of weapons and gear at your disposal, allowing clever vampires to outshoot their opponents where they can’t overpower them. The game also allows you to customize your appearance, changing everything from your hair and outfit to things like piercings and tattoos, allowing you to truly show off your personality in game.

Players can also choose to hunt solo or join their friends in groups of three. The game features both casual and ranked game modes, allowing you to show off your skills in whatever environment you desire.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt is out now, and is completely free to play. It is currently available on PC via the Steam store, as well as on the Playstation 5.
