Warzone 2.0 has just been released on PC and consoles, giving players access to a new and improved Warzone experience alongside the launch of Modern Warfare II. Along with the updated battle royale mode, Warzone 2.0 comes with DMZ, a new game mode with its own unique meta. In this guide, we’ll tell which guns are best for Warzone 2.0’s DMZ.
Best guns in DMZ
DMZ is the brand new PVE-PVP-looter experience that pits squads of players against each other and hundreds of AI enemies to see who can gather the most cash and extract intact. With a literal army of AQ soldiers standing between you and your payday, you aren’t just arming yourself against players; Much more planning is required to prepare you and your squad against the armies of Al-Mazrah.
Below are the best guns to use in Warzone’s DMZ game mode. While you’ll find these weapons helpful, its important to remember that the absolute best guns are the ones you work the best with. If you have a favorite that’s not on this list, you may find as much or more success running it instead.
M4
The M4 is Warzone’s best all-around assault rifle. Without attachments, there is no other gun in the game that is equal to the M4’s incredibly well-rounded stats, which only get better when you trick it out. While you’ll find some other guns with attachments perform better, the M4 is the best bang for your buck in the early game.

Not only do you start with plenty of them right off the bat, but leveling up the M4 is a great way to unlock new and better weapons. Racking up a lot of XP on this gun will serve you well in the long run.
RPK
The RPK is a high-damage, high-fire-rate machine gun that can mow down hordes of enemies easily. While it may not be the most appealing LMG right off the bat, you’ll find hundreds of these around Al-Mazrah, making it highly available in a pinch.

Because of this weapon’s availability, familiarizing yourself with this gun can be incredibly useful. Extracting with the RPKs you find on dead AQ soldiers will quickly build you a large supply of incredibly useful backup weapons.
Signal 50
The Signal 50 is a .50 Cal bullpup sniper rifle that many Warzone players swear by as one of the most powerful and useful guns in the game. Al-Mazrah is a massive map, filled with tons of heavily armored soldiers. It’s easy to see how a high-damage, long-range weapon like the Signal 50 can come in handy here.

The Signal 50 can be heard to unlock, but you can find the weapon in orange crates and weapon stashes. Extracting with the weapon will unlock the blueprint to use in your Insured Weapon slot.
These are the best weapons to bring with you into Warzone’s DMZ game mode. Making use of one or more of these weapons should help you fare better in the high-tension Al-Mazrah battleground, especially when paired with a great team and good communication.
