V Rising has you awakening as a vampire in a hostile world. You will need to find blood to regain your strength, and build your way up to the top of the vampire hierarchy. To do so, you will need to create a base for you and your friends or attempt to go it alone. If you’re looking to mine some silver ore, we will tell you where you can find it in this guide.
Finding Silver Ore
To get Silver Ore in V Rising, you will need to head to Silverlight Hills and into the mines. Deep inside of of them, you will come across silver ore nodes that can be mined.
While there are a couple of smaller nodes for silver in the area, one of the biggest deposits can be found deep into the Sacred Silver Mines that are located in the northern portion of Silverlight Hills. You can find the exact location using the map below, which is sourced from Map Genie.
There are a ton of enemies in this area, who are all around level 60, so make sure you can at least survive in fights against foes at that strength. You will want to use your various disguises to make your way through the mine and to the silver. The following video shows where you should go to get access to a bunch of it.
If you’re familiar with vampiric lore, you will know that silver is one of the ways humans are able to kill them. Silver is harmful to you in the game, while you carry it you will lose health depending on how much you have in your inventory. Make sure to be careful and have a plan on how to get back to your castle without dying! The utilization of caves will be critical, as you won’t be able to take the material through a Waygate.
Silver ore is used to create Dark Silver Ingots at the Furnace. You will need 20x Silver Ore and 1x Scourgestone to make a single ingot.
Dark Silver Ingots are used to create higher level weapons, such as the Dark Silver Crossbow, Sword, Axe, Mace, Spear, Reaper, Slashers, and to craft a Golden Castle Key.
