Wild Hearts Gritdog Materials Guide (Normal, and Mighty)

This is our Gritdog Materials Guide for Normal and Mighty Levels in Wild Hearts and how to get the different materials available in-game.
Wild Hearts Gritdog

Wild Hearts is a fast-paced action game with a vibrant, stylized aesthetic and a synth-pop soundtrack, where players travel through surreal and dreamlike landscapes, battling foes, and dodging obstacles. There are many different materials and ingredients you might need to progress and craft things in the game, including many that drop from Giant Kemono. This is our Gritdog Materials Guide for Normal and Mighty Gritdogs in Wild Hearts and how to get the different materials available in-game.

Gritdog Materials Guide – Normal

Gritdogs are Giant Kemono that can be found on Natsukodachi Isle (Chapters 1 and 2). Their Elemental Weakness is Wind, and they are weak to Piercing and Slashing weaponry. To swiftly take down a Gritdog, you want to focus attacks to its head and body, where it is weaker, while using Elemental Lantern and Spring Karakuri to navigate the battle.

Here are all of the crafting and upgrading materials that normal Gritdogs can drop so that you can craft or upgrade armor/weapons to get to end-game hunts!

To take down a Mighty Gritdog, the battle is similar, you’ll just need to be more agile, more alert, and make sure you have the appropriate gear to do battle effectively.

We hope our guide on Gritdog Materials in Wild Hearts has helped you locate the item you need. You can also use the Cyclopedia to check what obtainable materials have a chance to drop based on the Kemono if you are uncertain. The Cyclopedia also marks where their habitat is.
