Wild Hearts is a fast-paced action game with a vibrant, stylized aesthetic and a synth-pop soundtrack, where players travel through surreal and dreamlike landscapes, battling foes, and dodging obstacles. There are many different materials and ingredients you might need to progress and craft things in the game, including many that drop from Giant Kemono. This is our Icetusk Materials Guide for Normal and Mighty Icetusks in Wild Hearts and how to get the different materials available in-game.
Icetusk Materials Guide – Normal
Icetusks are Giant Kemono that can be found in Fuyufusagi Fort (Chapter 2). Their Elemental Weakness is Fire, and they are weak to Blunt and Piercing weaponry. To swiftly take down an Icetusk, you want to avoid charging over frozen ground and be wary of its powerful stomps that cause the ground to tremble and create lumps of ice out of nowhere. It is weakest at its head, so that is a good place to focus attacks, while Spring and Bulwark Karakuri are useful in this fight.
Here are all of the crafting and upgrading materials that normal Icetusks can drop so that you can craft or upgrade armor/weapons to get to end-game hunts!
Crafting Material | Notes |
---|---|
Icetusk Frost Limb | Defeat |
Icetusk Horn | Break back |
Icetusk Ivory | Break tusks |
Icetusk Tail | Break tail |
Icetusk Seed | Defeat |
Bandit Kemono Blood | Defeat |
Bandit Teardrops | Defeat |
Small Brumal Wind Crystal | Defeat |
Icetusk Materials Guide – Mighty
Mighty Icetusks are Giant Kemono that can be found on the Fuyufusagi Fort (Chapters 3 and 4), but you can often look for icons of this beast on the main map by participating in ongoing hunts. To take down a Mighty Icetusk, the battle is similar, you’ll just need to be more agile, more alert, and make sure you have the appropriate gear to do battle effectively.
