Wisteria 2 has gone private due to data issues

It looks like lingering data issues have caused Roblox Wisteria 2 to be taken offline so that these bugs can be fixed.

Roblox Wisteria 2, which is a popular anime RPG based on the Demon Slayer series, has recently had to go private due to “an insane data problem” according to the developers. This issue has apparently been plaguing the game recently, and making it so players have lost progress in the game.

On April 27th it was announced on the official Discord server for Wisteria 2 that the issue was being looked at:

the devs are figuring out what causes the data loss in many players rn and once they figure out what it is and have patched it then the mods will start doing restores since there is no point in doing restores just for you to end up losing your data again so just increase clip your game before your data bugs out for a restore in the future.

The game was still playable, however, but around 1pm on April 30th, it was officially taken down. The following message was released on Discord:

Hey guys, I had to close the game cuz of an INSANE data problem. Until its fixed the game will remain closed to protect your slots and data.

Sorry for having to close the game for this. When we reopen we’ll give a 200 spins to all.

While it is unknown when the game will be playable again, there’s a bright side to the announcement because players will be receiving 200 spins for the issues. While Wisteria 2 codes haven’t ever officially been issued, the devs have been adding free spins for various milestones that they have reached.

Hopefully, the game will be fixed soon so players can get back to their characters and not have to worry about losing data when they log off for the day.
