Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Is Scheduled For March 3 Release

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. It is revealed to be a soulslike video game based on Luo Guanzhong‘s 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Recently, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty announced that it will be available on March 3, 2023, worldwide on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5/4, and PC through Windows and Steam. It will also be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC.

As players start their journey in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, they will be able to build and customize their own character and choose one of the five “phases.” The game provides two close-range attach choices. Players needed to deflect attacks with their melee weapons to prevail in a fight since this creates chances to counter an opponent’s strikes. Each foe has a “Morale level” that determines the difficulty of the battle engagement. More challenging adversaries would drop more valuable loot. As players engage in close-range strikes, their spirit meter will progressively fill up. Eventually, players will be able to unleash “spirit strikes,” giving them access to unique fighting maneuvers and elemental abilities. The five “Divine Beasts” available to players are Qilin, Baihu, Qinglong, Zhuque, and Xianwu. These creatures may be called to aid players in battle, or they can be employed for “Divine Beast Resonance,” where they grant passive boosts to players.

Similar to another Team Ninja title, Nioh, the game is mostly linear. As players progress through the game, they will find Battle Flags dispersed around the world. Using “Genuine Qi,” the game’s kind of experience or EXP, players may upgrade their characters and gain new powers, as well as preserve their progress. Wo Long, unlike the Nioh series, has a jump button, which simplifies exploration and battle. The game also has a cooperative multiplayer option in which players may call upon a friend for assistance during a battle.

Team Ninja will soon reveal more information on the official Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty website. Be sure to visit the website for updates and possible exclusive deals.
