Team Ninja Studio and Koei Tecmo have released the final demo of Wo Long: Final Dynasty. The demo is playable until March 26th, 2023, through Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It features the first two chapters of the game, Village of Calamity and Two Chivalrous Heroes.
Recently, Fumihiko Yasuda, the producer of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, goes through the final demo playthrough to provide a breakdown of chapters 1 and 2’s gameplay, as well as to further stir the excitement on the upcoming action-role playing video game. In the playthrough, Fumihiko Yasuda provided some helpful tips on the skills and abilities in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. One of the skills that was presented is Deflect, which allows the player to redirect an enemy’s attack to create an opening. Another significant feature of the game that was showcased is Spirit, which is the energy required to execute various attacks. However, getting attacked can lower the character’s Spirit. Players must also keep an eye on the Morale Rank, which represents the character and enemies’ strength in the mission. The higher the Morale Rank, the stronger the character is. Moreover, Morale Rank is needed to activate Wizardly Spells like Rock Spike, Mighty Shockwave, and Quakebond.
There are also stands scattered around the area in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for Battle Flags to raise. By raising a Battle Flag, the Fortitude Rank will increase. However, the Battle Flag stands are protected by powerful beasts. Various characters are also scattered along the way to help defeat the bosses. Meanwhile, after completing chapters 1 and 2, players will earn Crouching Dragon Helmet in the full game.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo features online multiplayer, but those who want to team up together must use the same platform as the full game and the demo version does not support cross-platform play.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is out on March 3rd for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. You may add the game to your Steam Wishlist to be alerted when it becomes available.
