Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Is Scheduled For March 3 Release

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. Although it is still months away from its launch date, more and more details about the upcoming souls-like game are being revealed.

In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, players will create and personalize their own avatar and choose one of five “phases.” The game provides two close-range attack choices. Players must be able to deflect attacks with their melee weapons in order to prevail in a fight, as this creates chances to counter an opponent’s strikes. Each foe has a “Morale level” that determines the difficulty of the battle engagement. More challenging adversaries would drop more valuable loot. Similar to Nioh, the game is mostly linear. As they go through the game, players will find Battle Flags dispersed around the world. Using “Genuine Qi,” the game’s form of Experience (EXP), players may upgrade their characters and gain new abilities.

According to a previous report by XboxDynasty, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty would take around 40 hours of playtime to beat just for the main story. Now, XboxDynasty had the opportunity to interview the developers of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and get further information on the game’s performance mode, resolution, and frame rate. The game director, Masakazu Hirayama, told XboxDynasty that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will run at the highest quality level with 4K and 60 frames per second on the Xbox Series X and on the Playstation 5. “There will be options for players who are more focused on frame rate or on triggering. So there will be options like you’ve seen in other Team Ninja games,” Masakazu added.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is slated for release on Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on March 3, 2023.
