Blizzard has announced that the next update for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, titled Seeds of Renewal, is in development and will bring a host of new features to the game. This update will bring new features to both the Dragon Isles and other areas of Azeroth.

As announced on the Blizzard news page, dragonriding will be available worldwide. Players will now be able to use dragonriding to explore all old-world continents where flying is allowed. In Seeds of Renewal, dragonriding is being expanded to all old-world continents where flying is possible.

Additionally, a public event known as the Azerothian Archives will let players uncover the history of the Dragon Isles and Azeroth. Players can participate in this new public event and a variety of solo and group activities. Players will explore Traitor’s Rest, meet new characters, listen to tales of old, and immerse themselves in the lore of the world.

There is a quest line coming revolving around aiding King Greymane in reclaiming his kingdom. Players will be able to tackle dungeons with the assistance of AI companions who can tank, heal, or DPS. These companions will be available in all eight Normal Dragonflight dungeons and can scale up to four players, providing a more flexible and accessible dungeon experience.

New character customization options will also be available. Trolls will have access to five new hair colors, while Draenei, Warlock Tyrants, and Darkglare demons will receive unique customization options. Additionally, customization Achievements will be introduced for completionists.

The update will bring new Campaign chapters that continue the Dragon Isles story, as well as new rewards including Battle Pets, Mounts, and a Transmog set in Seeds of Renewal. The Seeds of Renewal update is currently in development and does not yet have a release date. However, Blizzard has stated that players should keep an eye out for more news.
