Hero Classes and Roles

Every playable character in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 possesses a Talent Art or a unique ability that can be activated by pressing the A button. However, in order to activate this ability, the Talent Gauge must first be filled to a certain level, which varies depending on the Class. When it comes to Attackers, their Talent Gauge may be boosted by striking critical hits on their enemies. It is possible for Defenders to fill up their Talent Gauge by drawing aggro and engaging in defensive actions such as blocking and dodging.
