xQc, one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, appears to possibly be making the move over to Kick after fans found new evidence on the alternative streaming platform.
Update (6/16/23 at 2:25pm PT): Looks like the rumors were true! xQc has signed a $100 million dollar deal with Kick.
Based on the fact that xQc’s page on Kick now has a subscribe button, this has led many to believe that he will be making the move to the platform soon. On top of that, this follows a surprise leak on his stream from two months ago that potentially implied that he would be moving to Kick soon.

There has been a lot of frustration with Twitch from xQc in recent history, even before the new ad guidelines that were posted and then quickly rescinded. The streamer was making quite a bit of money on crypto and gambling ads before the ban and made it clear he didn’t approve, so Kick’s more lenient policy on gambling streams and sponsorships will likely help xQc get back to his most profitable days.
The recent ad changes likely only fueled this decision to move to the platform a week ago, even if there had been talks in April that he was possibly considering it. In the clip below he mostly just seems confused by stuff that YouTube is able to do but Twitch is putting a ban on it.
He also claims that the new burned-in ad rules won’t be pursued, otherwise, he doesn’t understand how this won’t hurt creators and Twitch.
