Today, a few days after revealing her character teaser, as well as a few hours after they revealed a detailed overlook at the upcoming Perilous Trail event, set to take place during Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 “Hidden Dreams in the Depths”, HoYoverse revealed the character demo of Yelan, the game’s upcoming 5-star Hydro Archer.
In her character demo, which you can see below, courtesy of Genshin Impact’s official Youtube Channel, we can see Yelan, as she showcases all of her might and style while dealing with a group of Treasure Holders.
About Yelan
Yelan is a member of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, said to have taken part in many conflicts. She is described as being elusive, enigmatic, and erratic.
According to both her official description, as well as the many leaks released regarding her, Yelan will be a Hydro Sub-DPS, focused on dealing massive damage while on and off the field. Her biggest weapon will be her Elemental Burst, which will generate a Hydro construct that will, in turn, deal massive Hydro damage as the on-field character attacks. She will also be able to both trigger and generate reactions with ease.
Yelan is set to be released together with Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 2.7, set to debut on May 31st, 2022. The version is set to run for 6 weeks. Yelan’s banner, on the other hand, will run from May 31st to June 21st, 2022. Apart from Yelan, version 2.7 will also feature reruns for both Arataki Itto and Xiao, as well as the debut of the game’s new 4-star Electro Sword user Kuki Shinobu.
