We are less than a week away from the highly expected release of Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 “Hidden Dreams in the Depths”, and in preparation for the arrival of the new version, HoYoverse released a new teaser trailer, this time focused on the game’s upcoming 5-star Hydro Archer Yelan.
You can check out Yelan’s “Yelan: Inevitable Justice” character teaser below, courtesy of Genshin Impact’s official Youtube channel. Yelan will be voiced by Laura Post in English, and by ENDŌ Aya in Japanese.
Together with the release of the new character teaser, HoYoverse also officially revealed more regarding not only Yelan’s personality but also her kit and role. With that said, according to her official character description, Yelan is a member of the Ministry of Civil Affairs said to have taken part in many conflicts. But even so, she remains a mystery, which gave birth to many rumors and legends. She is said to be elusive, enigmatic, and erratic.
Also according to HoYoverse, Yelan will be a Hydro DPS, focused on dealing both on and off-the-field Hydro damage. She will also be a character able to actively enable and generate reactions. For those looking to add Yelan to their roster, don’t forget to check out all of her ascension materials.
It’s also important to point out that the game’s upcoming version 2.7 will also feature the debut of Kuki Sjinobu during its second phase, so her character teaser is expected to be released during the second week of June.
Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 will debut on May 31st, 2022, and is expected to run for 6 weeks. You can currently take part in the third phase of Genshin Impact’s version 2.6 on PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
